Scheme Background
Udyog Aadhaar scheme was launched in September 2015 by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises under Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 (MSMED Act, 2006) with the purpose to promote micro, small and medium enterprises, Before it is known as MSME Certificate or SSI Part –I and SSI Part –II.

Eligibility Criteria
Yes, it is depends on the investment you have made your business.
Any individual having a valid Aadhaar card can apply for Udyog Aadhaar Registration of their Firm/Company/Organisation.Udyog Aadhaar registration is applicable for all entities having a maximum investment of Rs. 10 Crores (for Manufacturing) and Rs. 5 Crores (for Services) in Plant & Machinery and Equipment for Manufacturing or providing Services (Not inclusive of Land & Building).
Not Applicable For
Udyog Aadhaar registration cannot be obtained for activities of Retail and Wholesale. Such entities are requested to apply for activities involving manufacturing of those products which in turn automatically cover its retailing and wholesaling.
